Shreya dhital finished women's 100 m freestyle in 47 th position

I wish i could write something like " Shreya won bronze Medal", But i don't know when Nepali can even bring one official medal from olympic game .Shreya dhital , 17 has finished 100 m freestyle in 1 min 10.8 sec which might be national record or around it , I am not quite sure, but this timing just made her in 47th position out of 48 participants.Playing in Heat 1 (If one has the slower time going into the race he/she would have the first lane and vice versa) Chinese swimmer Tang Yi won the another gold medal finishing in 53.28 whereas Melanie from australia won silver finishing in 53.5 sec.Anyway Shreya you have done great job , you have broken your record thats what we and you can expect from olympics .Thank you guys, at least you guys waved our flag in London.It's not your fault, for the development of game and anything, we need total revolutionary change in Nepal .
Heat: heat is the group of swimmers swimming at the same time .As all the swimmer can't swim at the same time because of limited lanes they make different group according to their performance .The better the performance is higher the no. of heat.
